Medical Humanities & The Grotesque is currently looking for members to join its editorial board. Our journal is dedicated to the intersection of medical humanities, disability studies, and the grotesque in different medias, allowing us to examine how bodies, illness, and medical trauma are represented and embracing the complexities of the grotesque.
we are seeking editorial board members with expertise in:
medical humanities
disability studies
grotesque and horror studies
medical illustration
medical history
as a member of the editorial board you will be expected to proved peer review for submission which would be twice per year, offer editorial feedback on selected works, and help shape the journal. This is a volunteer position with a commitment of a 1-2 issues per year.
