Digital Humanities and Environmental Sustainability is the interdisciplinary field where technology and humanistic inquiry intersect with environmental sustainability. The intersection enables us to explore, interpret, and preserve our cultural heritage in innovative ways. By leveraging computational methods and digital tools, Digital Humanities and Environmental Sustainability offer new avenues for analyzing, visualizing, and disseminating knowledge about the human experience across time, space, environment and landscapes.
As we contemplate the next stick and stone of civilization, we invite scholars, researchers, and practitioners from around the globe to join us in this exploration the third Conference on Digital Humanities and Environmental Sustainability (CoDHES-2024). In a world increasingly shaped by digital technologies, it is essential to examine how these tools not only influence our understanding of the past but also shape the trajectory of our future in relation to the environment, landscape, and culture. From the digitization of cultural artifacts to the development of cutting-edge computational methods, every contribution to this conversation is vital in shaping the next chapter of human civilization.
